Last week we held our first Gin tasting of 2019 in the Cellar Door. As part of the tasting we gave customers a lesson in how to make our two favourite Gin cocktails. Here are the recipes for you to try at home:
Rhubarb & Bramley Apple Basil Gin Smash:
Ingredients:
- 50ml Williams Chase Rhubarb & Bramley Apple Gin
- 20ml Lemon Juice
- 10ml Sugar Syrup
- 50ml Cloudy Apple Juice
- 4 Fresh Basil Leaves
- Ice
Method:
- Combine Gin, sugar syrup, lemon juice & apple juice and stir well
- Add 4 fresh basil leaves and stir gently
- Top with ice and serve
Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz G&T
Ingredients:
- 50ml Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin
- 15ml Triple Sec
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
- Premium Tonic Water
- Ice
- Orange Wedge
Method:
- In a glass, place the ice, Gin, Triple Sec and tonic and stir well
- Garnish with an orange wedge and 2 dashes of orange bitters and serve
